About bb.q Chicken Lomita
The bb.q in our name stands for "Best of the Best Quality", and that's exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken🍗 is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you've tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It's a tremendous amount of work, but it's all worth it when you take that first bite.

Lomita is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lomita follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Delicious Korean Fried Chicken at this restaurant located in Lomita, CA! I brought my family here and everything was great and delicious. Going down the list of dishes we shared: - Soy Garlic Wings: Crispy, crunchy, succulent meat, and tasty flavor. - Gangjeong Wings: Same as the soy garlic wings, but with added heat. Love the added spiciness! - Cheesling Boneless Wings: Crispy and crunchy texture covered with sweet and cheesy powder. Super yummy! - Rose Ddeok-Bokki: Loved the soft rice cakes in the creamy and spicy sauce. I would literally pay for the sauce alone. Adding cheese is a must. - Kimchi Fried Rice: Full of meat and flavorful. A great paring with the chicken. - Cheeseballs: Love these sweet, chewy, and cheesy balls. I need to buy more of these next time! The service here was great and the staff were nice and attentive. There was outside seating available which was nice and relaxing. A complimentary self-serve water station and a bathroom were available as well. For parking, there's a free lot in front. Overall, a great experience here! I would come back regularly if I lived in the area.

i absolutely love bbq chicken and this was just as great of an experience. my dad is a huge fan of the kimchi fried rice and found that this one was the best of all locations we've tried. honey garlic is my favorite flavor of all time and i wish other chains/shops offered the flavor as well. however, the ones that do honestly just dont do it the same. their chicken is made so well that even leaving it in the fridge overnight doesn't compromise the crisp. they have the best airy crisp on the chicken and it doesn't make me feel gross after like other fried chicken options. their pickled radish is always the perfect crisp and pickled-ness. my parents find their original spicy to be a classic. their tteokbokki is always nicely cooked. my spice tolerance is a bit lower so the rose one is perfect for me, good amount of spice, very creamy. the service was great, very kind and a very positive environment. felt very welcome this visit. they have a nice patio outside the side door that has lots of seating. parking is free although the lot is small. we didn't have any issue finding a spot when we went though (4:30p on thurs)

If you’re craving Korean fried chicken, bb.q Chicken is definitely one of those spots that always hits. Their chicken comes out perfectly crispy on the outside while still staying juicy and tender inside, and the flavors are packed into every bite. I also tried their newest cheese balls and they were sooo good~ cheesy and slightly sweet with the perfect texture. Honestly the kind of side dish you keep reaching for without realizing it. Everything paired together so well and made the whole meal extra comforting and satisfying. Such a good spot for sharing with friends, casual dinner nights, or whenever those Korean fried chicken cravings kick in.

My friends and I came here on a Sunday afternoon and we immediately smelled the fresh food in the back permeating the entire area. It set the tone of freshness and goodness. We were immediately greeted by Ian ands he was extremely attentive and helpful during our ordering. The ambiance is very comforting and a bit nostalgic for me. The setting is with service, but there are seating in the back. Here’s what we ordered family style: Half golden original chicken wing - 5/5 perfectly crispy on the outside, moist and popping hot on the inside. I didn’t even dip it in any sauce. It was the perfect golden crispy chicken you want in each bite. The radish that you eat along with it gave the perfect pickled balance to offset the grease from the chicken. Gangnam style - 4.5/5. The flavor is there, but the sauce did make the chicken less crispy. However, overall it was fantastic. Rose Ddeok-Bokki - 5/5 one of my favorite dishes and we did add cheese to it. That made the dish much more fatty and flavorful, which paired with the radish perfectly Kimchi fried rice - 4/5 it lacked a little bit of the kimchi flavor an egg was cooked broiled. I would’ve probably enjoyed more if it was sunny sid

Taste :4.7/5 Environment: 4.4/5 Service: 4.7/5 K-drama night starter pack: bb.q Chicken + pickled radish + no plans 😌🍗 bb.q Chicken in Lomita is made-to-order, so the crunch is real—and it’s been famous for decades for a reason. My musts: 🍗 Half & Half whole chicken (Golden Original + Secret Sauce) 🧄 Honey Garlic boneless (so addictive it should come with a warning) If you like stronger flavor: Gangnam Style wings (black pepper + soy). Outdoor patio available, free parking, but it gets busy—pre-order if you hate waiting.
